ELEVATE TRANSITION MEETINGS
January 22, 2026 Meeting
Scholars had another opportunity to connect with each other in the new year. Scholars were able to learn about the upcoming Council for Exceptional Children Conference in Salt Lake City. We discussed current events in Special Education. And were graced with research presentations by Drs. Kendra William Diehm (University of Oklahoma) and Carly Gilson (The Ohio State University).
December 11, 2025 Meeting
Our December quarterly meeting was stellar! We had the opportunity for our scholars to learn from each other, sharing what they experienced and their future goals after attending the Division on Career Development and Transition Conference in October. New scholars also shared tips on surviving their first year as doctoral students and what has helped them stay motivated across our six sites. We also had the opportunity to meet with our research affinity groups and begin our collaborative process across sites!
